Cars for a Cure is a Hyundai of Hickory Hollow program to encourage giving and help support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in providing no-cost cutting edge care for children suffering from cancer and other childhood diseases. 2015 was our first year, we were showered with support from the community, and joining forces with country station Big98, were able to present a check to St. Jude at the Guitar-B-Que in downtown Nashville. We look forward to helping even more in the years to come!
Hyundai and its dealers joined the fight against pediatric cancer in 1998. Now in its 17th year, Hope On Wheels remains committed to helping children fight this disease through funding life-saving research and innovative treatments. In 2015, Hope On Wheels will award 22 Hyundai Impact Awards, 36 Hyundai Scholar Hope Grants and 10 Hyundai Scholar Young Investigator Grants totaling over $15 million to institutions across the country. This year, Hope On Wheels surpasses $100 million in donations to pediatric cancer institutions nationwide since its inception.
Hyundai of Hickory Hollow is proud to join forces with the American Red Cross in 2015 and this year, our Blood Drive had a bigger turnout than we expected! Hyundai customers, employees, and even our own Hyundai district manager came down to donate a pint and help save a life! We had a great time during the 2014 holiday season collecting for Toys for Tots! For every vehicle unit sold during Hyundai of Hickory Hollow’s Community Sales Event, we donated $50 to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Middle Tennessee program. By the time we added it all up, $750 was donated to the program thanks to our customers!
